Purpose
The City Attorneys Association of Kansas (CAAK) is a not-for-profit association affiliated with the League of Kansas Municipalities whose purpose includes providing city attorneys the opportunity to study, learn about, and exchange ideas with other persons associated with municipal law.
The CAAK desires to strengthen the quality of legal representation of cities through continuing legal education and the sharing of information among members. Participation and assistance in advocacy before courts regarding issues impacting municipalities and municipal law is another area of importance for the CAAK.
